You will also have access to our Research and Development Academy, designed to develop our team and allow you to grow in our great organisation.About The RoleThe purpose of this role is to work with the Warehouse team and internal customers, to ensure end to end delivery of laboratory consumables and supporting other warehouse colleagues.The role also creates purchase orders and works with the Lab stores team to enable full inventory controls are in place.Your responsibilitiesAssist with bar coding requirements within the S&IC warehouse.Provide support with Laboratory deliveries throughout the S&ICSupport deliveries/collections to/from Laboratories as required, dealing with couriers and suppliers.Housekeeping and area cleanlinessUndertake stock checks and add/remove inventory to LIMS as required.Creation of purchase orders and customer serviceProvision of general Health and Safety support throughout the warehouseAssist teams with their queries and delivery/collection issues.The experience we’re looking forA minimum of A levels or equivalent in scientific related subjects would be an advantage.Experience within an R&D healthcare/Pharmaceutical and/or FMCG environment would be an advantage.Experience of working within a warehouse environment and familiarity with Warehouse style KPI’sExcellent team working skills.Good communication skills, both written and oral.Good understanding of GMP related principals or a willingness to train.Experience of or willing to train on warehouse electrical lifting equipmentThe skills for successR&D, Product Lifecycle Management, Commercial Awareness, Business Partnership, Collaboration, Partnership building, Collaborator, Ability to challenge the status quo, Propose improvement, Accountability, Adaptability, Analytical, Formulation, Science, Chemistry.What we offerWith inclusion at the heart of everything we do, working alongside our four global Employee Resource Groups, we support our people at every step of their career journey, helping them to succeed in their own individual way.
