We’re recruiting for a Customer Support Assistant to join our laboratory team based out of our Exeter Laboratory in Countess Wear. This is a full-time position, providing key support to our lab team, offering a salary of £26,914 per annum, plus a range of company benefits.

The Customer Support Assistant provides administrative support to the Laboratory, acting as a liaison with its internal and external customers.

What you’ll be doing:

• Liaising with Laboratory customers (internal and external) to provide effective customer support.

• Support the administration of procurement activities for the Laboratory using ELLIPSE.

• Receipt and registration of samples received for regulatory and commercial purposes using LIMS Sample Manager.

• Run reports to monitor samples received and act to resolve any deficiencies to ensure samples are analysed according to customer expectations.

• Liaise with subcontractors, providing results and entry of returning sample data.

• Display high standards of performance and quality control in keeping with regulatory standards and policies.

• Assist with occasional local off-site collection or delivery of samples.

• Other office-based general administration and occasional other duties which may include out of hours or weekend working).

What we’re looking for:

• 5 GCSEs grade A-C including English and Maths, or Science (or equivalent qualifications).

• Previous experience within an office administration role and customer facing role.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office packages and SharePoint.

• A flexible, proactive approach to work and changing work environment.
