Junior Treasury Assistant Full Time NEW

pawaTech is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Treasury Assistant who is eager to build a career in treasury and finance operations. As part of our Finance team, you will support daily treasury operations, reconciliations, reporting, and administrative processes while gaining hands-on experience in treasury and finance operations.

Compensation range: £30000 – £35000 annually.

NB! You MUST have a valid permanent working permit in the UK.

The role is fully remote.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assisting with daily cash position updates and treasury reconciliations
• Supporting payment processing and monitoring incoming and outgoing bank transactions
• Maintaining treasury trackers, banking records, and supporting documentation
• Assisting with month-end invoicing and tracking outstanding balances
• Supporting reconciliation of incoming operator funds and escrow account activities
• Assisting with loan documentation, repayment tracking, and loan reconciliation processes
• Supporting FX administration, including broker onboarding and FX tracking updates
• Assisting with preparation of FX gain/loss reporting and treasury reports
• Maintaining organised treasury filing systems and updating process documentation
• Supporting ad-hoc finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the team
• Collaborating with internal finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial operations

• Basic understanding of finance and accounting principles
• Knowledge of FX payments or banking platforms
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow within treasury operations
• Positive, professional attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Ability to work to deadlines and follow established processes and controls

Extra expertise we appreciate:

• Exposure to treasury, accounts receivable, or finance operations
• Experience with bank reconciliations
• Interest in treasury systems, banking processes, and financial controls
• Xero experience, Google Suit and Slack skills
• Finance-related qualification or studies in progress
• Fluent French
