A fast-growing business in the digital infrastructure and power sector is looking for a Junior Technical Support Engineer. You will join a team providing managed hosting and network services, ensuring secure and robust hosting solutions for clients across various industries.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage and monitor the internal ticketing system including support requests and access requests.
- Troubleshoot simple technical issues quickly and effectively with minimum supervision.
- Monitor power and digital infrastructure systems to ensure continuous service availability.
- Assess and prioritise technical faults and respond or escalate them accordingly.
- Collaborate with the wider technical team during night and weekend shift rotations.
What We’re Looking For
- Basic knowledge of the Internet structure and TCP/IP networking protocols.
- Strong desire to learn new technologies and develop technical skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work a flexible rota including day, night, and weekend shifts.
- Legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
