Junior buyer / Product Co-ordinator Full Time

The Role

This is a hands-on, central role. You’ll be the engine behind our product development pipeline – making sure nothing stalls, everything is tracked, and new products are moving from concept to launch on time.

You’ll work closely with the founder and our supplier base to keep the pipeline full and the process tight. You’ll also play a key role in fabric and material sourcing.

What You’ll Do

Pipeline Management

• Own and maintain the product development tracker — keeping every product updated from concept through to landed stock
• Chase suppliers, designers, and internal stakeholders to keep things moving
• Flag blockers early and escalate where needed
• Ensure the founder has clear visibility of pipeline status at all times

Fabric & Material Sourcing

• Research and build a library of approved fabrics, trims, and materials
• Work with suppliers and fabric agents to identify options that meet our quality and aesthetic standards
• Reduce the time it takes to move from concept to sampling by having materials ready to go

Supplier Coordination

• Be the day-to-day contact for our manufacturers — managing communication, sampling requests, and timelines
• Organise and document supplier conversations so nothing gets lost in WhatsApp threads
• Support with order placement, cost negotiation, and delivery tracking

Trend & Product Research

• Keep a close eye on trends — identifying quick-release opportunities and flagging them to the founder
• Research competitor products, pricing, and positioning
• Support the development of product briefs and range plans

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years experience in buying, product development, or garment technology — fashion or apparel brand preferred
• Experience with or interest in modest / Hijab fashion.
• A genuine understanding of garment construction, fabric, and how clothes are made
• Highly organised with strong follow-through — you don’t let things drop
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, founder-led environment with limited hand-holding
• Great communicator — clear and confident whether talking to a supplier or the founder
• Proactive by nature — you spot what needs doing and you do it

Nice to Have

• Experience working with overseas manufacturers (particularly in Asia or Turkey)
• An eye for what works on TikTok and Instagram from a product perspective
