IT Systems Manager (Qatar) Doha, Qatar Salary: Up to 40K per month – All Inclusive – basic salary, housing, transportation and flight allowance; plus health insurance coverage for employee and family (spouse + x3 children) The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Manager to lead the performance, reliability and evolution of large-scale traffic control and monitoring systems across thousands of kilometres of roads and tunnels. This role is critical to ensuring operational excellence across regional traffic control centres, identifying system requirements and improvements and enforcing best practicesRole and Responsibilities: Manage subcontractors ensuring system uptime and SLA performanceDesign and implement scalable system architectures and roadmapsDrive system monitoring, performance optimisation and reliabilityLead incident management and root cause analysisEnforce best practices in system design, documentation and operationsImprove efficiency through automation, tooling and scripting Skills and Experience: Prior experience working in SCADA/real-time engineering environmentsExposure to Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS) would be beneficialStrong knowledge of networking, security and system architectureExperience with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)Proficiency in monitoring tools and incident response platformsHands-on with automation/scripting (Python, Bash, etc.)Strong database skills (SQL & NoSQL, performance tuning)Familiarity with ITIL or similar frameworks Applications: Please contact James here at ISR to understand more about how our client are transforming the transport mobility sector with a range of innovative products and cutting-edge technology.
