At JTec IT Ltd we deliver IT support and services to a wide range of clients, mainly across in Northern Ireland. Services include supplying and supporting computers, servers, networks, security equipment and Cloud technologies as well as providing software and support of Cyber Security services.

The Role
We are now seeking an experienced IT Senior Support Technician specialising in Microsoft 365 to join our existing support team.
This is a key technical role responsible for providing second/third line technical support to our clients online, on the telephone and on site. The technician is responsible for implementing, investigating, resolving and supporting Microsoft 365 systems, across a variety of technologies such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, Azure AD, Information Technology and Security services. Additional support to clients Windows based computer systems including Windows Desktop and Server operating systems with associated applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver a high level of customer service.
Provide technical support to customers within our Service Level Agreements, ensuring that all tickets are correctly logged.
Pro-Actively monitor internal systems including backup reports, network and device monitoring systems, anti-virus, and patch management dashboards etc to identify issues of concern and resolve areas of concern.
Configure, deliver & deploy PC’s, laptops to clients.
Perform regular remote or onsite maintenance checks.
Provide onsite technical support to facilitate the collection and delivery of hardware for troubleshooting and repair.
Refer client requests for advice & consultation to the Business Development Manager
Manage & monitor client IT systems.
Collaborate with the team in areas of the business to increase product and service knowledge.
Mentor junior members of the team to develop their skillsets.
Create & update technical documentation and knowledgebase articles.
Take responsibility for one’s own professional development, through continuous learning, to ensure that any contractual or partnership accreditations or certifications are achieved
Essential
Five years of experience with proven skills in supporting / deploying / configuring the following:
Microsoft 365 Services and Solutions
Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems
Anti-Virus, Anti-Malware & Anti-Spam Solutions
Back up technologies such as Cloud backup solutions, Veeam, Storage Craft, Azure backup
Hardware Maintenance (Servers, Laptops and Desktops)
Patch Management Solutions
Network Topology Switching and VLAN’s, VPN’s
Network Security Appliances such as SonicWall, Fortinet, WatchGuard, Sophos, Draytek
Experience with ticket management systems
Desirable:
Professional IT Certifications in: Microsoft Certified Associate (Teams, O365, Azure, Security)
Intune, Azure, Security experience and certification
Required:
Permanent ability to live and work in Northern Ireland without visa sponsorship.
Previous experience in an IT/professional services organisation
Full UK Driving Licence
English as a first language
Right to work in the UK
