Job Title: IT Infrastructure Technician Location: Bristol Pay Range/details: Competitive salary Contract Type: PermanentWe are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Technician to join a fast-paced and dynamic IT department. The IT Infrastructure Technician will play a key role in supporting the business by delivering effective IT solutions, maintaining infrastructure, and building strong relationships with employees, partners and suppliers. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT Infrastructure Technician looking to develop their skills across a broad range of technologies in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities – IT Infrastructure Technician Installing and configuring software onto new hardware and equipmentRe-imaging devices and enrolling new users and systems Providing technical support to staff via face-to-face, telephone and emailManaging and prioritising IT support ticketsTroubleshooting system and network issues, diagnosing faults and implementing fixesManaging IT assets including Windows devices and mobile devicesSupporting IT infrastructure including communication systems and software contractsAssisting with IT budget tracking and procurement of equipmentMaintaining documentation including knowledge base and audit recordsSupporting upgrades, rollouts and business-wide IT projectsManaging starters and leavers processes Supporting Cyber Essentials compliance and certificationProviding guidance and support to junior team members or apprenticesLiaising with external suppliers and supporting international branches Qualifications & Requirements – IT Infrastructure Technician Level 3 IT qualification or equivalent experienceLevel 4 qualification or degree in a relevant field desirableExperience with Microsoft technologies including Entra, Intune, SharePoint and Microsoft 365Familiarity with Apple Business ManagerExperience in on-premises, hybrid and cloud environmentsMinimum of 3 years’ experience in an IT support or helpdesk roleStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsGood communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levelsOrganised, reliable and able to work independentlyExperience with PowerShell beneficial but not essential What we can offer – IT Infrastructure Technician Competitive salaryOpportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive IT teamExposure to a wide range of technologies and systemsOngoing training and development opportunitiesCareer progression within a growing organisation
