What the job involvesSupporting senior investment professionals to drive execution across all aspects of the deal lifecycleAssisting the portfolio management team in quarterly reporting and twice-yearly valuationsConducting detailed market research and target identificationSupporting due diligence processes on potential acquisitions, including valuation analyses, and preparing investment committee papersBuilding and reviewing financial models, valuations, and investment materialsEngaging directly to actively build relationships with management teams, advisors, and other stakeholdersContributing to portfolio company initiatives, including strategic projects, M&A, performance monitoring and preparing portfolio companies for exit, follow-on investments or bolt-on acquisitionsWho we are looking forPrevious Associate-level experience within private equity, investment banking, leveraged finance or corporate finance Background or degree in science, medicine or businessDemonstrable interest and passion for the healthcare sector is essentialDemonstrable interest in the lower mid-market, with an appreciation for working with founder-led and scaling businessesStrong financial modelling and analytical skillset, with a solid understanding of accounting principlesA professional qualification such as ACA or CFA (or equivalent), or an MBA, is advantageousCommercially astute, with the ability to assess markets, business models, and growth dynamicsHigh attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skillsCollaborative, proactive, and intellectually curious, with a genuine desire to learn and developComfortable operating in a lean, entrepreneurial team environment with high levels of responsibility
