Investment Associate | PE
Our client, a reputable private equity firm with a strong European presence, is looking for an Associate or Senior Associate to join their London-based investment team. This is a lean team offering significant exposure to the full deal lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex financial modelling and valuation analysis (LBO) for new investment opportunities.
- Lead/support the commercial and financial due diligence process for target companies.
- Draft investment committee memos and present investment recommendations.
- Monitor portfolio companies, working closely with management on value-creation initiatives.
- Assist in the execution of exit strategies, including trade sales and IPOs.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience within a top-tier Investment Banking M&A team or another Private Equity firm.
- Strictly no consulting backgrounds; candidates must have direct transaction and execution experience.
- Business fluency in a second European language (e.g., German, French, Nordic, or Spanish/Italian) is a mandatory requirement.
- Exceptional technical skills with a mastery of LBO modelling and financial analysis.
- Strong academic track record from a leading global university.
