Role description:

Our Interiors Team are proud to continue to add to their list of recent project successes, securing some of the UK’s most high profile, complex and stimulating projects to complement their existing portfolio of works. The projects are diverse and challenging and cover the Workplace, F&B, Retail, Residential, Education & Healthcare Sectors.

Reporting to the Senior Interior Technical Designer, you will provide technical support into a variety of projects within the property environment. As we operate in such a diverse marketplace, you will gain experience of working on a wide and varied portfolio of projects which will enhance your skills and test your technical knowledge and will have an opportunity to develop your career within a growing and successful global Interior Design Consultancy.

Some of the major projects & experience you will be involved in include but are not limited to:

• Multi-disciplinary projects
• Multi Sector E.g. Retail, Food & Beverage, Workplace, Hospitality etc
• Strategy, Design & Delivery for new and refurbished office spaces
• New store design, including design standards Governance & Assurance

Role accountabilities:

• Achieve project objectives as defined for each project via project appraisals, including collection and analysis of data, development of design solutions and development of written reports.
• Act as a project resource, completing allocated activities to meet budget, timeframe and quality objectives and meeting or exceeding client expectations
• Identify information sources and collect data to support project delivery. Analyse data and develop design solution.
• Contribute to and progress the development of ideas and offer alternative solutions to advance the project
• Review work carried out by colleagues to ensure that it meets specified standards
• Liaise with PM/TL and client to ensure effective communication on project matters

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors’ interior design or architectural degree
• Previous experience in a similar Interior Design role.
• Strong technical drafting skills
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Good client relationship management and commercial skills
• Good understanding of the delivery and management of all RIBA Work Stages
• Proficient in Revit and other design related software, with a good understanding of BIM
• Ability to produce creative concepts and complete FF&E design space planning.
