Infrastructure Architect – 6-month contract – Glasgow Our longstanding customer in the legal sector is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join their IT Workplace team. This role focuses on designing and delivering end-to-end solutions that enhance the user journey and workplace experience, with a strong emphasis on global system delivery and office move projects (Over 50 offices globally) running till 2030.The successful Infrastructure Architect will play a key role in shaping workplace technology solutions, producing high- and low-level designs, and ensuring seamless integration of systems across international environments. Skills & Experience Required from the Infrastructure Architect: Proven experience as an Infrastructure Architect within a global enterprise environmentStrong track record in end-to-end global system delivery across multiple regionsExtensive experience designing infrastructure solutions focused on user experience and workplace technologiesDemonstrated experience delivering office move / relocation projectsStrong expertise in producing and maintaining HLD and LLD documentationSolid understanding of enterprise infrastructureExperience with collaboration tools and AV solutions (e.g. Microsoft Teams Rooms)Familiarity with Network Access Control (NAC), physical security integrations (CCTV) and Global printing solutionsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills Key Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Architect: Lead the design and delivery of workplace technology solutions across global office locationsOwn and produce High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) for office move projectsArchitect solutions that enhance end-user experience and user journeys within the workplace environmentTake ownership of existing systems, reviewing and updating architecture documentation (HLD/LLD) as requiredEnsure consistency, scalability, and compliance across global deploymentsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, networking, security, and AV specialistsSupport project lifecycle from concept through to delivery and continuous improvementProvide technical governance and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standardsThere might be some early/late calls to cover Asia/US markets.The Infrastructure Architect is required to be onsite at least 2 days a week in Glasgow.
