Role Description

The Information Systems Analyst will play a key role in analyzing, maintaining, and improving the council’s information systems. Core responsibilities include providing technical support, troubleshooting system issues, conducting systems analysis, and ensuring optimal system functionality. The position entails collaboration with various teams to meet organizational needs and ensure seamless IT operations. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bury St Edmunds, with opportunities to work both in-office and remotely.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills to assess system performance and identify areas for improvement
• Proven proficiency in Systems Analysis to evaluate and enhance system capabilities
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting expertise to resolve technical issues promptly
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Information Technology systems and processes
• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a hybrid work environment
• Relevant certifications and/or experience in IT systems and analysis (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA, or similar) are advantageous
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is highly desirable
