Role: Inclusion and Wellbeing Support Assistant

Contract: Permanent (39 weeks per year, term-time plus inset days)

Hours: 35 hours per week 8.00 – 3.30 (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) 8.30 – 4.00 (Wednesday)

Salary: Scale 5 points 10-13 (FTE salary £27,694-£29,064)

• Provide administrative support to the Learning Support team
• Provide direct support for pupils with emotional and/or behavioural difficulties
• work with and help facilitate those pupil’s successful inclusion in school life

We Are Looking For a Candidate Who

• A high standard of written and spoken English
• Excellent numeracy skills
• A strong work ethic with flexibility to respond positively to challenges of day to day school life
• A calm and motivated attitude with a clear understanding of the needs of all children including children with additional needs
• A good sense of humour Excellent communication skills
• Willing to undertake training and support individual needs
• Previous experience of working within an administrative or similar role in a busy school office
