This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 09:00 – 17:00, with flexibility required during peak periods. The role offers an annual salary up to £37,000.00 depending on skills and experience.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Responsible for promoting a strong safety culture across 2 sites, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies, and supporting safe working practices for employees, visitors, and contractors.

• Monitor and maintain Health & Safety compliance across 2 sites
• Deliver inductions and site tours
• Create and review risk assessments
• Manage COSHH records and hazardous substances
• Conduct workplace inspections and ensure actions are completed
• Deliver safety training and briefings
• Maintain incident, accident, and near‑miss records
• Investigate incidents and support managers with follow‑up
• Chair Health & Safety committee meetings and support reporting
• Ensure adequate first aid and fire warden coverage
• Support safe contractor management and PPE compliance
• Assist with business continuity and emergency plans

Profile:

• NEBOSH General Certificate (or IOSH working toward NEBOSH)
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation
• Confident in risk assessments, inspections, and investigations
• Strong communication and engagement skills at all levels
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities across 2 sites
• Training delivery experience (desirable)
• Dangerous Goods, COMAH, or auditing experience (desirable)
