This role will play a key part in helping Bright Futures 4 All build strong and sustainable people foundations as we continue to grow.
As a charity supporting children and young people, including those with SEND needs, it is essential that we have clear, consistent, and effective HR processes in place. These foundations ensure that our staff and volunteers are well supported, enabling them to deliver safe, high-quality services to the young people and families we work with.
Over the course of this 6-month project, the volunteer will help us build and embed core areas of the HR function, including onboarding, recruitment processes, employee experience, and key policies.

What will you be doing?
We are looking for a proactive and hands-on HR Project Volunteer to support a 6-month project focused on building the HR function from the ground up at Bright Futures 4 All — a growing charity supporting children and young people, including those with SEND needs.
This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the HR Lead and play a key role in creating the people foundations that will support the organisation’s growth, including its longer-term vision of expanding into a full-time school.
You will be involved in implementing and shaping core areas of the employee lifecycle, helping to bring structure, consistency, and a positive people experience across the organisation.
