Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanour.
• Check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently and accurately.
• Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications through various channels.
• Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
• Manage phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, ensuring all queries are addressed promptly.
• Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and welcoming at all times.
• Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Address any guest complaints or issues with professionalism and resolve them effectively.

Skills

• Strong guest services skills with a focus on creating positive experiences for visitors.
• Excellent phone etiquette, demonstrating professionalism in all communications.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to our diverse clientele.
• Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficient in using computer systems for reservations and check-in/check-out processes.
