This permanent post will work across the Argyll and Bute HSCP Area working to an agreed portfolio of work. This portfolio will be focussed on HSCP priorities and targets on areas related to working with vulnerable communities and engaging with communities, but will be required to deliver programmes of work as needed. There will be opportunities for partnership working with other partners across Argyll & Bute. Experience of leadership and management and the ability to demonstrate knowledge, skills and experience of health improvement essential. The successful candidate will be required to lead on variety of health improvement programmes, manage staff and use initiative and good judgement in decision making. UK Public Health Registration or working towards this is desirable.A driving licence is required. The base is negotiable within Argyll and Bute & travel around Argyll and Bute will be required.
