Duties

• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.
• Support the implementation of personalised care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Monitor residents’ health and report any changes or concerns to senior staff promptly.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and team members to ensure holistic care delivery.
• Assist with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Support residents in participating in social activities and promote their independence.
• Document care provided accurately in accordance with organisational policies.

Experience

• Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
• Good driving skills and a valid driving licence are advantageous for roles involving home visits.
• Familiarity with care plans and basic IT systems used for record keeping is beneficial.
• Proficiency in English with strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents and colleagues.
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in caring for others.
