Head of Market Data – Major Hedge Fund – Lucrative Total Comp Package Full Time NEW

My client, a market leading hedge fund, are looking to hire a Head of Market Data into their London office.

Stepping into a highly autonomous and strategic role, the hire will take ownership of driving strategy and operational excellence across the firm’s data platform globally. The hire will lead on the design, development and roll out of the firm’s data strategy roadmap as well as managing relationships with key vendors and exchanges, acting as a trusted partner by multi-strategy investment teams to ensure data procurement, operations lifecycle and transmission infrastructure is operating seamlessly. The hire will also work to evaluate and make continuous improvement across the firm’s market data platform ensuring governance and compliance frameworks are aligned to internal and external requirements. The hire is also expected to be proactive in driving new projects and initiatives to improve vendor management, risk and operational infrastructure upgrades on a firmwide basis.

As this is a business-critical hire, the firm are looking to provide the successful candidate with a strong increase on his/her current base, with a focus on providing a high TC package (bonus driven).
