We are a growing team of more than 400 passionate employees from more than 50 countries who share the same vision: to create a single tool to help send travellers almost anywhere in the world.Job DescriptionAbout the RoleAs our business continues to expand internationally and evolve in sophistication—across areas such as advertising, business travel, and AI-driven products—the complexity of our financial reporting environment is increasing significantly.The Head of Group Reporting will play a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely, and scalable financial reporting across a growing number of entities, systems, and revenue streams. Beyond delivering high-quality consolidated financial statements, this role will drive the evolution of our group reporting processes, strengthen controls, and ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAPs in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.Working closely with the VP Finance and senior stakeholders, you will help shape a robust and future-proof reporting framework that supports strategic decision-making, new business models, and continued international growth.What You’ll DoPrepare monthly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRSLead the preparation and delivery of annual external reporting, including footnotes and checklists under IFRS, UK GAAP, and German GAAPOwn relationships with internal and external auditors for group reporting and consolidation topicsResearch and implement new accounting standards and assess their impact on the businessAdvise senior management on the interpretation and application of IFRS standardsDevelop and maintain accounting policies, manuals, and position papersManage external accounting providers and ensure timely and accurate reporting across entitiesProvide technical accounting support on complex topics (e.g. revenue recognition, leases, financial instruments, capitalisation)Support strategic initiatives such as acquisitions or new business models from a group reporting perspectiveStrengthen and document controls across financial reporting and group accountingDrive improvements and scalability in reporting processes, systems, and toolsWhy This RoleThis is an opportunity to take ownership of group reporting in a business that is scaling rapidly in both geographic footprint and product complexity. You will operate at the intersection of accounting, systems, and business evolution—helping to build a reporting function that can support new revenue streams, international expansion, and increasing operational sophistication.You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and play a key role in ensuring the financial foundations of the business are robust, scalable, and ready for the next phase of growth.QualificationsWhat You Bring8+ years of relevant experience in group reporting, consolidation, or technical accountingBackground in a Big 4 firm is strongly preferredStrong knowledge of IFRS and experience with external reportingExperience working in international, multi-entity environmentsFamiliarity with consolidation tools and ERP systems (Workday experience is a plus)Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionallyA proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a focus on improving processes and scaling systemsDegree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACA or equivalent qualification preferredFluent in English (German is a plus)Additional InformationWhat’s in it for you?
