Head of FP&A Full Time

Eton Bridge Partners has been retained by a private equity‑backed FinTech business to recruit for a Head of FP&A, who will be joining the organisation at a critical stage of its growth and value‑creation journey. Reporting to the CFO, this role will have ownership of group planning, forecasting, cashflow and board reporting. It will also play a central role in shaping the financial models, performance reporting and investor materials required to support a planned PE exit, while partnering closely with senior leaders across the business. Key responsibilities

• Support business growth and exit readiness by helping to establish new entities and develop scalable reporting frameworks. You will also embed robust financial processes and contribute to PE exit preparation, including financial modelling, scenario analysis and due diligence.
• Lead the group‑wide annual budget, reforecasting, forecasting and variance analysis across group, entity and business‑line levels.
• Produce monthly board reporting and performance packs in collaboration with senior stakeholders across the business.
• Own monthly cashflow forecasting, covenant forecasting and financial stress‑testing to support liquidity and risk management.
• Provide financial insight, analysis and challenge to support strategic decision‑making as well as performance evaluation and month‑on‑month variance understanding.
• Partner closely with the CFO and senior leadership team on board engagement, investor reporting and executive‑level presentations.

Candidate Profile

• ESSENTIAL: Strong financial modelling and forecasting capability, including scenario analysis and sensitivity/stress testing, drafting clear documentation supporting financial models and proposals.
• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Experience in producing board-ready reporting and partnering with senior stakeholders to drive performance.
• Adaptability to take on new initiatives and develop new processes to improve business performance.

Location/Flexible Working

Our client supports flexible working, offering a balance of in-office and working from home. The office is located in London with the expectation of working on-site 3 days per week.
