With a commitment to excellence, it serves as a trusted medical facility for the local and broader community.Role DescriptionThis is an on-site, seasonal/temporary role for a Government Relations Specialist, based in Makkah, specifically for Hajj season.The primary focus of this role is to manage and facilitate all government-related processes to support hospital operations during Hajj, ensuring smooth coordination with relevant authorities and compliance with regulatory requirements.This is a project-based role limited to the Hajj season, with a defined contract duration.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate with government entities (e.g., MOH, Jawazat, Baladiya) to ensure smooth healthcare operations during HajjProcess and follow up on professional licensing for healthcare staff (e.g., SCFHS license – Mumaris – MOH) Issue and manage permits for seasonal healthcare staff in line with MOH regulationsHandle Makkah entry permits for medical and administrative staff during Hajj seasonManage contract documentation and linking through government platforms (e.g., Qiwa – Ajeer)Ensure all healthcare staff meet regulatory and credentialing requirements before deploymentFacilitate onboarding and deployment of medical teams for Hajj missionsAct as the liaison between the hospital and regulatory authorities for all healthcare-related mattersMonitor updates in Hajj and healthcare regulations and ensure complianceResolve any government-related issues that may impact hospital operations during the seasonQualificationsProven experience in Government Relations, preferably in the healthcare sectorStrong knowledge of Saudi government platforms and procedures (e.g., Qiwa, Absher, Muqeem, Mumaris)Experience in handling healthcare licensing and regulatory compliancePrevious experience in Hajj operations or seasonal projects is highly preferredStrong communication and coordination skillsAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentBachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
