Global Reconciliation Analyst Full Time NEW

Join us as a Global Reconciliation Analyst, where you will be shaping the future of Banking at Barclays, by supporting the Global Reconciliations (GRS) team provide reporting coverage across all legal entities and service areas wherever GRS supports from reconciliation perspective. Within the role you will be responsible for investigating reconciliation control breaks and service reporting activities which are reportable to senior leadership.

To be successful as a Global Reconciliation Analyst, you should have:

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify root causes of reconciliation breaks.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Stakeholder Management.
• Strong understanding of risk and control frameworks, including the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate, operational, financial and compliance risks.
• Highly motivated, results-oriented with strong people management skills.

This role is based in Northampton with a hybrid working model of working a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

Purpose of the role

To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.

Accountabilities

• Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
• Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
• Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
• Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
• Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
• Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
• Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
