From reducing our environmental impact, to supporting education through training and talent programmes, to giving back to our local communities with our charitable initiative ABBIE- ESG is part of who we are.ROLE PURPOSEKey duties & responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end implementation of new global and international payrolls, ensuring delivery against defined project plans and timelinesOversee payroll processing activities during implementation and transition phases, managing risks and resolving issues, escalating only where necessarySupport and coordinate day-to-day payroll operations to ensure deadlines are met and employer/employee queries are resolved accurately and efficientlyOwn and review client-specific payroll process manuals and implementation documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistencyAct as a key point of contact for global Payroll Partners, ensuring required data is obtained and local compliance requirements are understood and appliedMaintain and enhance a central knowledge library covering payroll processes and legislation across supported countriesLead testing activities, including system testing, parallel runs, and post-implementation reviews, ensuring successful payroll go-liveIdentify process inefficiencies and drive improvements to enhance payroll delivery and scalabilityProvide guidance and support to Analysts and Advisors on payroll-related queries and issue resolution during implementation phasesMonitor changes in payroll legislation and assess potential impacts, escalating and advising stakeholders as appropriateExperience & qualificationsStrong payroll experience, with exposure to international or global payrollsProven experience managing or leading payroll implementations or transitionsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail with well-developed analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience working with client payroll data and handling confidential information with discretionEffective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across different cultures and time zonesExperience supporting or mentoring junior team membersRelevant payroll or accounting qualification (desirable but not essential)WHAT AAB OFFER We want you to feel supported inside and outside of work.
