Global Financial Controller Full Time NEW

We are partnering with a global medical aesthetics organisation to appoint a Global Financial Controller reporting directly to the CFO.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for global accounting, financial control, statutory reporting, audit, governance and consolidation across an international business. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening financial controls, supporting finance transformation initiatives and building a scalable finance function to support continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead global accounting and financial control activities across multiple international entities.
• Oversee monthly consolidations, statutory reporting, external audits and shareholder reporting.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and strong financial governance across the Group.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial controls, processes and reporting standards.
• Support finance transformation projects, including ERP and SAP S/4HANA initiatives.
• Partner closely with FP&A, manufacturing, treasury, tax and operational leadership teams.
• Lead and develop a high-performing global accounting team.

About You

Essential

• Qualified Accountant (ACA preferred, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• 12+ years of progressive finance experience.
• Significant experience in financial control and accounting leadership.
• Experience leading multinational accounting operations.
• Strong IFRS technical accounting expertise.
• Experience managing external audits.
• Experience overseeing multiple legal entities internationally.
• Experience leading teams across multiple countries.

Highly Desirable

• Medical device, pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience within private equity or shareholder-led organisations.
• SAP S/4HANA implementation experience.
• Experience supporting organisational transformation programmes.
• Experience in inventory-intensive businesses.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with practical operational experience in a multinational manufacturing environment.

The individual should be comfortable operating at both strategic and detailed levels, capable of challenging financial assumptions, strengthening governance and driving transformation.
