Overview
Bearingboys Ltd are looking for an organised, motivated Storeman to join their ever-growing team in their Head Office located in Rackheath, Norfolk.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials
- Check deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes
- Store items correctly and safely in designated locations
- Pick, pack, and prepare goods for dispatch or internal use
- Maintain accurate stock records and conduct regular stock checks
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet trucks (if trained and licensed)
- Ensure the store area is kept clean, organised, and safe
- Follow all health, safety, and company procedures
- Report damaged goods, shortages, or discrepancies promptly
- Assist with stock rotation and inventory control
- Support other warehouse or operational tasks as required
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment (preferred)
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Basic computer or stock system knowledge (desirable)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
- Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
Monday – Friday
8.30am – 5pm
Pay: £24,500.00-£28,000.00 per year
