Salisbury Hardware Shop
Require a FULL TIME RETAIL ASSISTANT
We require a smart and enthusiastic member of staff to join our team within our busy and ever changing store at Salisbury Shop.
We will be looking for the ideal candidate who can:
- Deliver excellent customer service, ‘putting the customer at the heart of everything we do’.
- Be confident to approach & welcome customers while on the shop floor, and on their journey through the store.
- Carry out replenishment activities, to ensure shelves are full & the stock is available for our customers.
- Dress and correctly merchandise spaces to ensure products are well presented and easy to select.
- Operate the tills efficiently and accurately – handling cash, credit/debit card, and gift card transactions.
- Minimise wastage and loss by following our processes and procedures.
Experience gained with a high volume retailer such as a supermarket or DIY store would be an advantage.
Please note that due to the nature of some of our products that heavy lifting is involved.
This is a Full-Time position working 5 days per week, one of which is a Sunday. The hours of work are 8.30am to 5.30pm during the weekdays & Sunday is 10.00am to 4.00pm totalling 40 hours per week.
