Job Title: Full Stack IoT Developer Location: Wiltshire (Melksham) Type: Full-time Salary: £55,000 – £60,000Overview This role sits between physical engineering systems and cloud-based analytics. You’ll work on connected products, turning device data into clear insights and predictive tools.The focus is on building reliable data pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and developing applications that support real-world operations. You’ll work closely with data scientists and engineers to deliver scalable digital services.What you’ll do IoT & Data Engineering Configure and deploy edge devices and gateways (e.g. CAN, Modbus, Ethernet)Build and maintain data pipelines for reliable ingestion over mobile networksTransform and store telemetry data in scalable environmentsDevelop Python tools for automation and data workflowsApply analytical techniques to support predictive use casesSupport data platforms such as Databricks or SnowflakeBuild clear interfaces for data visualisation Cloud & DevOps Design and manage cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred)Use infrastructure as code to automate deploymentsContainerise services using DockerWork with SQL and NoSQL databasesSet up CI/CD pipelines for data and applicationsDeploy and monitor systems securely What they’re looking for Experience Around 2+ years in a full stack, data, or backend roleExperience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)Strong Python skills plus one other language (e.g. JavaScript, C++, .NET)Good understanding of APIs, data pipelines, and backend systemsExperience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD toolsFamiliar with different database types IoT / Systems Experience working with connected devices or telemetry dataUnderstanding of device security and data transferAbility to troubleshoot across systems Skills Clear communication with technical and non-technical teamsStrong problem solving and debugging abilityComfortable working across the full development lifecycleGood attention to code qualityAble to work independently and manage priorities Nice to have Experience with industrial protocols (CAN, Modbus)Exposure to Databricks or SnowflakeBasic signal processing or predictive analytics knowledgeCloud certifications Responsibilities Deliver IoT and digital solutions that support operational performanceHelp define development and release processesWork with stakeholders across engineering and data teamsSupport improvement of deployed systemsMentor junior team members where needed
