Are you a hands-on developer with strong C#/.NET expertise and experience working directly with trading desks? This is a high-impact role where your work will sit at the core of Commodities trading, supporting real-time decision-making in a front-office environment.

Key requirements (must-have)

• Strong experience in C# / .NET development
• Solid banking background with exposure to Front Office environments
• Good understanding of derivatives and options (Greeks, pricing, curves)
• Experience within Commodities markets (highly preferred)
• Mid–Senior level experience with proven ownership of systems

What you’ll be doing

• Partner with Front Office users to gather, analyse, and anticipate business needs
• Design and deliver custom proximity applications for trading and risk
• Evaluate and propose multiple technical solutions to support business decisions
• Build and maintain robust, scalable systems in a production environment
• Provide hands-on support for business-critical trading tools
• Drive continuous improvement through enhancements, bug fixes, and optimisation
• Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions
• Collaborate with Quants, MO/BO teams, and global IT stakeholders

Technical environment

• C# / .NET Core, Entity Framework
• WPF (or similar desktop UI frameworks)
• Angular (nice to have)
• SQL Server, MongoDB
• Microservices & containerisation
• Market data integration (Bloomberg, Reuters)
