Founder-in-Residence, AI HealthTechPathway to Director to Commercial OperationsLocation: Flexible / HybridAINAD is looking for a Founder-in-Residence to help build the commercial engine behind the next generation of AI-enabled healthtech ventures.This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial operator who wants to work at the intersection of growth, strategy, execution, and venture building. You will help shape how commercial opportunities are identified, qualified, converted, and operationalised across the business.This role is designed for someone who wants to build first and lead next. Over time, the successful candidate may transition into a long-term leadership role as Director of Commercial Operations, helping define systems, processes, forecasting, pipeline discipline, and cross-functional commercial execution.What you’ll doHelp identify and improve high-impact areas across commercial operations.Build repeatable processes for pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity qualification.Work across leadership, product, operations, and go-to-market teams to improve execution.Support proposals, tenders, partnerships, and implementation planning.Help align commercial growth with operational readiness and delivery capability.Contribute to dashboards, reporting, and performance insight.Help shape the future commercial operations function within the business.What we’re looking forProven entrepreneurial experience, ideally as a founder, co-founder, or early-stage operator.Strong understanding of commercial strategy, scaling, and operational execution.Comfortable working across sales, partnerships, delivery, and product teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.High ownership, resilience, and comfort with ambiguity.Preferred experienceHands-on experience navigating procurement, contracting, and implementation pathways for healthcare providers.Experience in HealthTech, SaaS, digital health, or another complex B2B or regulated environment.Exposure to commercial operations, revenue operations, business operations, procurement, tenders, or implementation planning.Familiarity with healthcare buyers, commissioning structures, enterprise sales cycles, or operational delivery in regulated settings.Proven senior commercial or sales leadership experience within digital health, health tech, or adjacent regulated environments.Strong track record selling into the NHS, including complex stakeholder landscapes and long enterprise sales cycles.Demonstrated ability to build and scale high-performing commercial teams, operating with clear accountability and targets.Strong commercial operations capability: pipeline discipline, forecasting accuracy, KPI design, and performance reporting.Strategic mindset with a pragmatic, hands-on approach to progressing and closing deals.Deep understanding of (and credibility within) the sexual and reproductive healthcare system, with the judgement to engage confidently in clinical and operational conversations.Self-starter with high ownership, resilience, and comfort working in a fast-paced scale-up environment.About AINADAINAD is redefining what it means to tackle global challenges by bringing advanced technologies, especially AI, SaaS, and digital innovation, directly into the heart of sectors that matter most: sustainability, health, education, and fintech.We don’t just build startups; we co-create high-impact ventures that address the world’s toughest problems.
