Role: Fitter/Mechanical Fitter

Hours: Full time

Location: New Addington, Croydon

We’re looking for a Fitter who can build and manufacture components, fit metal, weld, and use workshop tools effectively within a workshop and site environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Fitting and assembling metal components and structures
• Carrying out welding and fabrication tasks to required standards
• Using a variety of workshop tools and machinery
• Supporting manufacturing and mechanical fitting activities (including rivets and assemblies)
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

• Proven ability to fit metal and carry out welding and fabrication work
• Experience using workshop tools and manufacturing equipment
• Welding and fabrication certification
• Mechanical fitting experience within a workshop or site environment
• Full, valid driving licence
