Vero Recruitment has been exclusively appointed to recruit a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager for a leading Scottish business based in Aberdeenshire.

This is a highly visible, hands-on finance leadership role within a progressive, values-led business, offering the chance to drive financial insight and influence across the organisation.

The opportunity:

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will lead the delivery, development, and control of management information and costings across the business. You will support the forecasting and budgeting processes, and help drive efficiency through finance systems, processes, and procedures.

This is a strategic, data-focused role that directly supports business growth, including domestic and international expansion, and provides insight to enable informed decision-making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation, analysis, and control of management information for multiple revenue streams
• Partner with business leaders to review P&L, understand margins, and provide financial insight
• Develop and deliver monthly management packs and KPI reporting
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning across the business
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance, and financial regulations
• Manage, develop, and mentor a small finance team
• Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives within the finance function
• Provide financial input for new projects, acquisitions, and strategic growth initiatives
• Collaborate across sites and functions to drive better ways of working and operational efficiency

Who we’re looking to attract:

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• High-level interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence at all levels
• Experienced in financial planning, management reporting, and business partnering
• Comfortable with finance systems (D365 and Power BI experience advantageous)
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to operate autonomously
• Demonstrates integrity, dependability, and a focus on continuous improvement
