Hybrid (2/3 days in the office)

We’re looking for a Finance Operations Assistant to join a well-established financial services organisation in London. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their finance career who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, and keeping things accurate and organised.

The Role

You’ll play a key part in the day-to-day running of the finance function, supporting with financial transactions, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate records.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing payments (BACS, Faster Payments, SWIFT)
• Performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Managing accounts payable and receivable activities
• Posting journals into the general ledger (Oracle)
• Investigating and resolving payment and reconciliation discrepancies
• Supporting month-end processes and audit requirements
• Liaising with stakeholders across the business to resolve finance queries

Requirements –

• Some experience in finance operations / accounts / bookkeeping (or strong admin experience with finance exposure)
• Good working knowledge of Excel
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Confident communicator who can work with stakeholders across the business
• Studying towards AAT (or similar) is a plus, but not essential
