Our passion for the well-being of animals and those who care for them drives us to advance the world of veterinary medicine.Finance Manager – International AccountingLocation: UK, Remote (ideally within travelling distance to London)Join our team as a Finance Manager, International Accounting and play a key role in supporting financial reporting and governance across our international operations (EULAM and APAC).You will work closely with regional teams to ensure the integrity, consistency and accuracy of financial information across the group.What You’ll Be DoingThe core of the role is about control, clarity and coordination across our international entities:Partnering with regional finance teams to ensure timely, accurate reportingLeading the monthly and quarterly reporting cycle across multiple marketsReviewing balance sheet reconciliations, P&L movements, and consolidation packsOwning and strengthening financial controls (SOX-aligned) across the groupBridging statutory reporting with US GAAP requirementsOverseeing audits and building strong relationships with external auditorsManaging intercompany accounting and cross-border complexitiesSupporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisDriving process improvements, especially through automation and smarter use of toolsWorking closely with Tax, Controllers, and global finance teams on wider initiativesWhat We’re Looking ForYou know your numbers, but more importantly, you know how they fit together in a global business.Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent)Strong experience in international accounting within a multinational environmentSolid understanding of IFRS and/or US GAAPExperience working with controls and governance frameworks (SOX or similar)Comfortable navigating multi-entity, multi-country complexityAble to challenge, influence and bring people with youNot essential, but useful:Exposure to US-listed organisationsExperience working across EMEA/APAC regionsBackground in distribution, wholesale or supply chain environmentsInvolvement in M&A or business transformation projectsWhy join usYou’ll be joining a global business where finance isn’t just reporting the story, it’s helping shape it.You’ll get exposure across multiple regions, work with experienced international teams, and have the opportunity to influence how we evolve our processes as we continue to grow.If you want to operate at group level, get stuck into real international complexity, and move beyond just “closing the books”, this is a genuinely interesting role to step into.Covetrus is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
