Torbay Council is seeking two Facilities Management Multi-Trade Technicians to join its Facilities Management team, based on site at Fleet Walk Shopping Centre. This is a 2-year fixed term opportunity within a public-sector environment, supporting the delivery of a safe, welcoming and well-maintained shopping centre for residents, businesses and visitors.
The post holder will play an important role in delivering a high-quality, cost-effective maintenance and repairs service, with a particular focus on painting and decorating works across Fleet Walk Centre. The role forms part of the Council’s wider commitment to maintaining public assets and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
This role offers the opportunity to work within a local authority Facilities Management service, contributing directly to the upkeep and presentation of a key community asset. The post provides varied, hands-on work within a supportive team environment, with clear responsibilities and public-sector values.
This post requires a Standard Criminal Level Check. This will show details of all spent and unspent convictions and adult cautions that have not been filtered in line with legislation.
This position is for a fixed term of 24 months from the start date.
