An organisation in the life sciences sector is looking for an End User Support Technician to join its digital workplace team on a three month contract. This is a hands on first line support role with a strong focus on service quality and user experience.
The role
First line support role delivering day to day end user technology support across the organisation, keeping teams productive in onsite and remote environments.
What you’ll do
- First line support for laptops mobiles tablets and workplace tech
- Log triage and resolve tickets using an ITSM tool
- Onboard and offboard users including day one setup
- Build and configure laptops and standard hardware
- Support Microsoft 365 Teams SharePoint and OneDrive
- Deliver high touch support for VIP users
- Spot recurring issues and support root cause fixes
- Keep IT asset records accurate and up to date
- Work closely with internal teams and third party suppliers
- Communicate clearly and keep users informed
What you’ll need
- 2+ years’ first line IT support experience
- Strong customer service mindset
- Confident troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Microsoft 365 support experience
- ITSM tool experience such as Freshdesk or ServiceNow
- Laptop build and hardware support experience
- iPhone setup and admin exposure
- Comfortable handling multiple tickets independently
- Clear communicator with non technical users
