Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Shrewsbury. As an Employment Officer, you will support individuals in achieving employment goals by providing career counseling and training opportunities. Your responsibilities will include coordinating and delivering training programs, assisting individuals in identifying career pathways, and offering excellent customer service to both clients and stakeholders. You will also work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to enhance employment opportunities for the community.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience in Career Counseling and ability to guide individuals toward achievable employment goals.
• Proficiency in designing and delivering Training and Training & Development programs.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and meet the diverse needs of the community.
• Knowledge of local employment practices and labor market trends is advantageous.
• Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Relevant qualifications or experience in career counseling, training, or related fields are desirable.
