Role DescriptionThis is a contract-based hybrid position as an Employee Relations Consultant located in the United Kingdom, with flexibility to work remotely for part of the time. The consultant will serve as a crucial partner to HR and leadership teams, providing expert advice and solutions on employee relations issues. Key responsibilities include handling employee grievances, ensuring compliance with employment law, managing investigations, supporting organisational change processes, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The consultant will also assist in developing and implementing HR policies and strategies that align with the company’s mission and values.QualificationsExpertise in Employee Relations, including managing grievances, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution.Strong understanding of Employment Law and applying best practices for compliance and legal frameworks.Proficiency in Policy DevelopmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to support constructive dialogues and outcomes.Problem-solving abilities with experience in conducting workplace investigations and delivering practical solutions.Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site and remote work responsibilities.CIPD qualification and/or equivalent experience in Human Resources or Employee Relations is highly desired.Familiarity with the healthcare or social care sector is advantageous.
