We are a supportive, forward-thinking team, committed to continuous improvement and professional development. The Planning Service is award winning being RTPI Planning Authority of the Year for Yorkshire 2025 and is embracing the opportunities offered by digital planning as part of our wider service transformation.
We actively support staff development and offer a modern working environment, blended office-based and home working together with flexible working hours.
We are committed to supporting both chartered and aspiring members of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).
We offer:
paid professional subscriptions
access to regular and high-quality CPD
a wide range of training opportunities, both in-house and with external partners, covering ecology, planning, management and leadership.
