Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Driver / Labourer to join our growing team at Varisco Stone. This is a hands-on role working across high-end residential and commercial projects in Central London, supporting the transport and installation of natural stone products.

This position also offers a unique opportunity to be trained by an experienced stone fitter, gaining specialist skills within the stone industry. For the right individual, this can develop into a well paid, long-term career in stone fabrication and installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving company vehicles to transport stone materials between our factory and London job sites
• Safe loading, securing, and unloading of stone (training provided)
• Assisting on-site with installations and general labouring duties
• Supporting fitters with handling, positioning, and preparing materials

Training & Progression

• Work directly alongside an experienced fitter
• Learn specialist skills in stone handling, fabrication, and installation
• Opportunity to progress into a skilled fitter role over time
• Ideal for someone looking to build a long-term trade career

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Ability to work early starts and travel into Central London

Desirable (not essential):

• Experience in construction, labouring, or similar trades
• Experience driving vans or transporting materials
