Job Description:We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary / Community Support Workers to provide exceptional care and assistance to individuals within their own homes and local communities. This role involves supporting clients with a variety of needs, including elderly care, patients with chronic conditions, and those requiring specialised support such as dementia or Alzheimer’s care. The successful candidate will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalised, respectful, and professional care.DutiesAssist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobilitySupport with medication administration in accordance with prescribed guidelinesPrepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirementsProvide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolationHelp with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environmentDrive clients to appointments, social activities, or errands as neededMonitor and report on clients’ health status and any changes in behaviour or conditionAssist with specialised care needs including dementia, Alzheimer’s, hospice, or palliative careImplement behaviour management strategies to promote safety and well-beingEnsure adherence to health and safety protocols at all timesPay: £24,420.00-£27,300.00 per yearSkillsExperience in assisted living, home care, or nursing home environments is highly desirableKnowledge of patient care, dementia, Alzheimer’s, and senior care practicesAbility to perform heavy lifting safely when requiredFirst aid certification is advantageousStrong driving skills with a valid licence for client transportation purposesExcellent caregiving skills with a compassionate approach towards vulnerable individualsGood organisational skills for managing schedules and medication routinesAbility to handle behavioural challenges with patience and professionalismCompetence in meal preparation tailored to specific dietary needsExperience in childcare or hospice care is beneficial but not essentialThis role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring support within their homes.
