Helping to co-ordinate inpatient pathways. To help optimise inpatient bed flow. To input this data to DWL and initiate an e-Discharge summary with findings and support inpatient team as knowledge grows. To work collaboratively with other health care professions to ensure all relevant information is captured for coding purposes. As well as this to keep continuity within a team which is changing regularly. To input and check all patient data is correct utilising Trust systems and reports and to facilitate the compliance of correct data for each patient to ensure that a co-ordinated and streamlined administrative process revolves around the patient and their individual needs. To provide effective help during ward rounds to ensure efficient patient care.Person specificationQualifications, Knowledge And ExperienceEssential criteriaNVQ 3 In Business Administration or equivalent relevant experienceRSA 2 word processing / typing or equivalent experienceKnowledge of basic medical terminologyExperience in a busy and demanding medical environmentExperience of working under high pressure and to deadlinesAdmin experience within a customer focused environmentDesirable criteriae-Camis TrainedKnowledge of Doctors Work List, Edocs, PACs, eQuestExperience working in the NHS with associated IT systemsTrust ValuesEssential criteriaPatients FirstWorking TogetherAlways Improving
