We collaborate and work closely with teams across EY, developing technology‑enabled, regulatory‑led solutions for our clients.As a Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping EY’s remediation strategy, leading our most complex and high‑profile engagements, and acting as a trusted adviser to senior client stakeholders, regulators and Boards.Services sector. We collaborate and work closely with teams across EY, developing technology and regulatory risk-based solutions for our clients.Your Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Director within the Remediation Team, typical engagements you can expect to be involved in include leading, directing and assuring the design, implementation or review of:Past business reviews and large‑scale remediation programmes for firmsFCA agreed actions including Section 166 reviews and Skilled Person engagementsIssue identification, root cause analysis and regulatory health checks across products, processes and customer journeysEnd‑to‑end remediation execution, including operating model design, delivery governance, MI & Reporting, operational planning and financial oversightProduct and file reviews, quality assurance frameworks and outcome testingPolicy frameworks, remediation principles and redress methodologiesRisk Management Frameworks including governance arrangements, risk appetite, control frameworks and assurance modelsOriginating, shaping and leading significant business development opportunities for new and existing clientsThe Successful Candidate Will Be Expected ToProvide visible leadership across EY’s largest and most complex remediation engagements, acting as the primary point of accountability for delivery, quality and outcomesAdvise senior client stakeholders, including ExCo, Board and regulator‑facing teams, through the articulation of clear, defensible positions grounded in deep regulatory and remediation expertiseSet the regulatory and technical direction of engagements, including interpretation of regulatory standards and the design of pragmatic, scalable solutions to complex regulatory risksLead multiple workstreams and engagement teams concurrently, ensuring strong ideally with complex governance, regulatory and stakeholder landscapesOutstanding communication skills, strong commercial acumen and the ability to provide constructive challenge at senior levelsHighly organised, structured and disciplined, with the flexibility to operate effectively across multiple priorities and under significant regulatory and delivery pressureProactive and strong, inclusive team cultureTo qualify for the role, you must have some or all of the following:Typically, 12+ years’ experience working within Financial Services or significant experience leading large‑scale remediation programmesStrong understanding of financial markets, regulatory frameworks and supervisory expectations, with the ability to translate these into client‑ready solutionsSound technical knowledge of financial products and customer‑facing regulated activities (e.g. complaint handling, redress, conduct risk)Strong academic background, ideally to a degree level or
