NHS Shetland is delivering an ambitious programme of digital change, implementing new systems that improve patient access and strengthen collaboration, as well as integrating technology across Shetland’s wider public sector and with partner Health Boards across the East of Scotland.
As Digital Projects Manager (GP IT Projects), you will lead on the roll-out of modern IT solutions across multiple GP practices, working closely with clinical and operational teams to streamline workflows, enhance digital services, and help deliver safer, more efficient patient care.
This contract is for a fixed term until 31 of March 2028. The reason for the fixed term contract is secondment cover. This role supports the delivery of NHS Shetland’s Digital Strategy and Workplan and plays an important part in progressing the national programme of digital change within the General Practices across Scotland.
This is a key time for digital professionals, as emerging technologies are supporting NHS organisations to transform services and deliver high quality, safe and sustainable care.
