DevOps Engineer – Remote Full Time

About The Role

We are seeking an exceptional and experienced Global DevOps Lead to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will have 12-15 years of progressive leadership experience in DevOps within complex enterprise environments. This role is pivotal in establishing and scaling our Global DevOps practices across multiple markets, ensuring seamless integration, automation, and continuous delivery of our technology solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive organizational transformation and foster a DevOps culture aligned with our business objectives.

Qualifications

• 12-15 years of experience in DevOps leadership within enterprise environments
• Advanced expertise in Azure DevOps, including community practices, complex queries, dashboards, and organizational configurations
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep
• Proficiency in CI/CD principles, deployment strategies, and automation scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
• Deep understanding of full-stack monitoring, distributed tracing, log aggregation, APM, and synthetic monitoring
• Experience with Datadog adoption and integration
• Solid grasp of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and implementation patterns
• Certifications such as Azure DevOps Expert, Azure Solutions Architect, or Datadog certifications are preferred
• Experience with Agile/SAFe methodologies at scale
• Knowledge of change management frameworks like ITIL
• Experience with AIOps platforms and practices is advantageous
• Exceptional influencing, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to engage C-suite and senior leadership
• Culturally sensitive and globally minded, with experience working across diverse cultures and time zones

Responsibilities

• Lead the establishment and expansion of the Global DevOps practice across multiple markets and teams
• Develop and implement DevOps operating models that align with organizational goals and industry best practices
• Drive organizational transformation through automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment strategies
• Manage and optimize Azure DevOps environments, including configurations, dashboards, and community practices
• Oversee the adoption and integration of monitoring tools such as Datadog, ensuring proactive incident management and performance optimization
• Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives, ensuring scalable and reliable infrastructure provisioning
• Promote a culture of reliability, security, and operational excellence by applying SRE principles
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver innovative solutions and improvements
• Mentor and develop DevOps teams, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance DevOps capabilities
