Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients for a General Manager – Club Operations role. This is a leadership position responsible for driving the overall performance, culture, and member experience within a high-end wellness and leisure club environment.
You will lead the full club operation, ensuring exceptional service delivery, strong commercial performance, and alignment with brand standards while shaping a modern “social wellness” experience for members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing club team
- Drive membership growth, retention, and revenue performance
- Take ownership of club P&L, budgets, and operational KPIs
- Ensure delivery of premium member experience and service standards
- Oversee health & safety, compliance, and operational risk management
- Build a strong culture focused on wellbeing, engagement, and performance
- Manage day-to-day operations across fitness, hospitality, and facilities
- Collaborate with central/support teams to implement new initiatives
- Maintain strong member relationships and handle escalations effectively
- Monitor and improve operational efficiency and service quality
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in a General Manager / Club Manager / Senior Operations role
- Background in leisure, fitness, hospitality, or service-led environments
- Strong commercial acumen with P&L and budget management experience
- Demonstrated leadership and team development capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
