We are looking for two detail driven people to join our registration service as deputy registrars, who can be flexible (location wise), able to work at short notice to cover holidays and sickness.
Where no two days are the same. Every day you’ll engage in life’s significant moments from registering a birth to supporting families through registering a death. Your role will involve conducting marriages and civil partnerships and be a vital part of one of the biggest days of a couples lives.
About The Role
To provide a covering role for Registrars of Births and Deaths / Deputy Superintendent Registrars as and when required at any of our offices located in the County of Leicestershire. This is a Zero Hours contract where having excellent availability is essential.
To register births, stillbirths and deaths occurring in the district.
To attest notices of marriage and civil partnerships and issue authorities and schedules to allow the ceremony to take place on time.
To attend and register or perform marriages and civil partnerships to all eligible couples, in accordance with legislation at the Register Office, Approved Premises and Registered Buildings.
Ensuring that all registration records and security stock are securely stored at the end of the day.
General office administration tasks
A basic DBS check is required for this post.
