Chelmsford Learning Partnership is seeking an exceptional Deputy Director of Standards and School Improvement to play a pivotal role in driving excellence in teaching, learning and pupil outcomes across our family of schools.

This is a senior, trust‑wide leadership role for an experienced and credible school leader who is passionate about equity, relentless about standards, and motivated by the belief that every child deserves an excellent education.

The Opportunity

This is not a desk‑based role and not about compliance. It is about influence, improvement and impact.

• Shape and embed high‑quality approaches to curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment across the Trust
• Work alongside Headteachers and senior leaders to secure sustained improvement in standards and outcomes
• Strengthen internal quality assurance, using evidence intelligently to inform action
• Champion inclusion, with a sharp focus on improving outcomes for disadvantaged and vulnerable pupils
• Play a leading role in Trust‑wide professional development, leadership growth and talent development
• Lead the Trust‑based SCITT provision, supporting the next generation of teachers to thrive
