So why not join us at FairPlay and be part of something bigger…Role Summary:We are looking for a Deployment Project Manager to lead a large‑scale technology migration project, including associated product development and rollout activity.This role has full lifecycle accountability. You will be responsible for shaping and planning the project, formally initiating it, leading mobilisation and kick‑off, and then delivering it through to completion and adoption.The project is complex, with multiple parallel workstreams and contributors across product, engineering and operational teams. Success depends on strong judgement, clear structuring of work, and the ability to create confidence and momentum from day one.What You’ll Be Responsible For:Project initiation and mobilisationLead project initiation, including clarification of scope, objectives, success measures and constraintsDevelop the delivery approach, structure and integrated project planIdentify stakeholders, contributors and decision‑makers, and establish clear ways of workingRun project kick‑off and ensure teams understand the purpose of the work, their role, and how delivery will operateEnd‑to‑end delivery of the migrationOwn delivery from initiation through to rollout and adoptionManage multiple parallel workstreams, sequencing activity and dependencies across teamsTrack progress, risks and issues, ensuring trade‑offs are surfaced and addressed earlyProduct development and rollout coordinationWork closely with Product Managers and capability teams to plan and deliver product changes required as part of the migrationTranslate product intent into practical delivery, testing and rollout plansEnsure product development remains aligned with the migration’s outcomes and timelinesBusiness readiness and operational adoptionPlan and coordinate readiness activity so teams are prepared to operate, support and own what is deliveredEnsure processes, ownership, documentation and handover are in place ahead of rolloutIdentify and address gaps where technical delivery and organisational readiness divergeStakeholder engagement and decision supportAct as the central point of coordination and communication across the projectProvide clear, structured reporting for senior stakeholders and sponsorsSupport effective decision‑making using delivery artefacts such as plans, dependency maps and risk logsEscalate deliberately when decisions materially affect scope, timeline, cost or valueDelivery standards and ways of workingUphold Deployment team standards around clarity, professionalism and respectful collaborationChallenge scope drift and unrealistic expectations constructivelyFocus on outcomes and adoption, not just task completionWhat We’re Looking For :Essential experienceProven experience planning, initiating and delivering complex technology or platform projects, ideally including migrationsExperience working client-side or in-house on technology projects using fractional teamsStrong capability in setting up projects from first principles, not just running pre‑defined plansConfidence managing multiple workstreams directly in a matrix organisationHow you workStructured, pragmatic and calm in complex or ambiguous environmentsComfortable taking ownership early and creating clarity where little existsOrganised and detail‑aware, while maintaining a strong sense of the bigger pictureService‑oriented, with care for both delivery outcomes and the project experienceCommunication and judgementClear, concise communicator who adapts easily to different audiencesUses evidence and delivery artefacts to guide conversations and decisionsExercises sound judgement about when to decide, when to escalate, and when to slow things downNice to haveExperience in digital media, sports, betting, content or SEO‑led environmentsFamiliarity with platform or CMS migrationsExperience working with distributed teams across time zonesWhat you’ll get back from us:Alongside being challenged daily and a real interest in your development, you will also receive:Subsidized Sky HD package, broadband and discounted sky talkFree Puregym membershipFree healthcare with Bupa, life assurance and income protectionPension scheme with up to 9% contribution from the company£1,000 training fund each financial year, to spend on your professional developmentUnlimited holiday planResearch shows that women and ethnic minorities are less likely to apply if they don’t meet every qualification.
